Welcome to the first in a kind of regular series where I hand the freebie of the day over to one of you fine people! Yes indeed, after various people saying that they would like to share some of the Photoshop resources they have made, we are now going to have a guest post system so you can benefit from their hard work and generosity.

Our first guest freebie comes from Alex Brown. You may have noticed his comment on last week’s tip of the week, but we thought it worth making a post of as it’s a useful resource to have. He’s basically created a grid action that once loaded, will set up a frame, divide your image in half or apply a rule of thirds grid. It’s very useful for sorting out your compositions and getting the perfect crop. So massive thanks to Alex for sharing his resource!
