Mountain scene desktop

Photoshop is an incredibly powerful tool when it comes to digital painting, as is ably demonstrated with this desktop. Take from a speed painting tutorial in Advanced Photoshop magazine, issue 47, it shows how brushes make it possible to apply soft and more textured stroke effects. The tutorial’s author, Mike Corriero, made use of custom brushes to paint a lot of detail with just one stroke. This not only gives a great finish, but it saves lots of time, too!
