Enjoy this pack of 10 patterns, all with a retro, Sixties feel
It’s fair to say that patterns may not be the first tool you reach for in Photoshop, in fact some of you may never even glance upon them. But they can be very useful in quickly building up background designs, or applying as a displacement map.
We’ve put together a pack of 10 patterns here, all with a bold black-and-white, almost retro feel. Use them as a dramatic backdrop to a photomontage or just use them on their own for a more abstract creation. Leave a comment to let us know how you get on with them!
To load the patterns, click the link below to download a zip file. This contains a .pat file – go to Edit>Preset Manager, select Patterns from the drop-down menu and hit Load. Navigate to where you saved the pattern file and click Load.
These patterns are for personal use only and cannot be distributed without permission from Photoshop Daily.

Thank you so much for these Jo! Here is a use for them some people might not think of. Print them to cover an entire sheet of Ink Jet transparency film available from the office supply store. Then use it as a screen to shoot your flash through to create interesting shadows on portraits.
