Oscar – Depending on the tonal range of your image the constant bar may not need to be adjusted at all. It just so happened that at 120% the highlights could really shine off this car. Good practise would suggest set it to 100% constant for printing. Unfortunately, images never look the same in print than on screen! (due to varying paper type and inks) I’d suggest doing a test sheet of small examples of your image at different Constant values on a single page to see which one works best.

I was instructed to not go over the 100% mark, which I didn’t like too much, because I couldn’t the contrast and tonal values I was looking for. I would just increase the contrast bar slightly to get somewhat satisfying results. So when using the monochrome setting, does it have to be at 100% for when printing? It looks great online, but could printing this image cause any problems?
