If you’re looking for a camera with minimal fuss, you could be on to a winner with the Canon A2000 IS. It’s a mid-range model with plenty of features but no complicated buttons or menus.
From the outset the camera has a friendly appeal, thanks to a softly curved body with plenty to grab hold of. A chunky dial sits on top, giving you direct access to all the shooting modes, plus a few quick scene modes for good measure. The Shutter button sits directly next door, surrounded by the zoom lever, and the rest of the controls line the right-hand side of the LCD.
