Ahh, the humble gradient. It sits there all unassuming, just waiting for the day it will be called upon to add zing to an image. And it’s surprising just how much zing a gradient can add!

Whether it’s creating psychedelic light effects, adding a soft background to a portrait or applying a mask, gradients give a lot of creative bang for their buck. And we have a crop of 35 for you to enjoy here. We’ve got a selection of subtle gradients, which are great for photo edits, in addition to bolder flavours to use for backgrounds.

To get the gradients, click the link below and save the zip file to your desktop. Open this to get to the .grd file. Now go to the Preset Manager in Photoshop (Edit>Preset Manager) select Gradients in the drop down menu and click Load. Navigate to where the .grd file is and then click Load.
